A7 Manifold on A8

No, not in the key of C. An H is likely involved though ...

A7 Manifold on A8

Post by A1ex » Fri May 23, 2014 3:39 pm

Quick question.

Am I right in thinking that the if I put a complete a7 manifold (including thorttle body and injectors) on an a8 engine and use the ATR ECU eveything will run correctly?

The a7 PDE IM is not a direct fit to the a8 P13 head. The IM needs work done to it in order to get it to fit.

ECU wise I would assume that it will run, I have no idea how well though. Maybe someone has experience but I dont think many do :(.

My thinking was with the same airflow through the inlet manifold as when it was on the ATR, with the same cam profiles and same CR it would all be hunky dory...
