What car and what ECU?
The ones mentioned before in this topic do not have an aimmobilizer and will work without it. If you have a 5th gen and just put another ECU,that won't work

Uk spec 5th gen 2.2vti that's been converted from auto to manual. I'm changing the ecu to a P28 with a Hondata S300 chip as to support the engine modifications. I also have the required conversion harness.

Then no worries, p28 does not have an immobilizer. Congratuloations, your car can now be easily stolen

Hondata s300 is not a chip, it is a conversion to standalone ECU and it is a great thing to gave.
Do you have s300 or Hondata based Eprom? That would be s100.

I've got the S300. And an after market alarm.

I've read a lot about there still being immobiliser issues with this set up but nothing specific as to what they might be.
