:lol: I'd have assumed that he had swapped the injectors & resistor box. If not then that is probably the reason.

Whilst the crank sensor is in a different place, is it not still doing the same job?

i dont think it has anything to do with injectors or resistor boxes or obd1 or 2, as you can run obd1 peak and hold injectors in a 5g with the resistor box so it should work the other way around. I dont know if there was an issue with the ecu or with the conversion harness some of those are pants
i dont think i still have the ecu cant remember now if i do its tucked away somewhere "safe" :lol:

and the location of the sensors wont make a difference they all have the same sensors 4g and 5g just located in a different place.
