help and info request for my P28 ECU.

Post by hoppi05 » Fri Aug 28, 2015 1:55 pm

afternoon guys, as some of you are aware the pesky knock sensor on my H22A has been the brunt of some issue  so based on this i have bought a chipped P28 from Htune with a H22A base-map.

now i have no experience in the tuning arena whatsoever

so to tune this is either learn and ask your help and kindness in providing me some base maps to work with

or help identifying a good local tuner or a mobile one if they exist any more? for help with this local to me is in the West Yorkshire area so i you know anywhere or someone please let me know.

thanks in advance and once i have the ECU and tested it will feedback (i will be either ecstatic or enraged lol).

cheers.

First of all, what software is installed for mapping on the P28?

Eg, Crome, Hondata

You know I have no clue sorry it's how it came from htune but I do know the car now WORKS on whooooooo. ...

Anyway this now seems more involved than I expected as been in IT I assumed there would be a comma point to connect to but it seems not so tuning myself my be out of the question.

Does anyone know somewhere/one in Yorkshire that could look at tuning it for me?

Tdi north in Warrington are a major Honda tuner and would probably be your best bet, they may have a waiting list though

Not sure if TDI map Crome. But hondata they can as they have just done my brothers car. I know Ricky at race tech can map Crome.
