No, not in the key of C. An H is likely involved though ...

Post by Chris666 » Sat Dec 05, 2015 4:03 pm

Help !
I have just brought a 1994 2.3 4ws 4th gen prelude as a project to do. Engine is sound bodywork rusted on arches lol
Want to know any suggestions to get more power then the standard 160bhp.
Also looking at buying used parts to improve performance.
Thanks
Chris

Intake and exhaust mods would be top of the list if you want to keep the H23 engine where it is and then maybe some light weight wheels and good tyres ;)

Thought if you put the h22 head on it was pretty damn quick?

Welcome.
H23 is a lovely engine.
Easiest power upgrade is indeed to swap it with an h22 though.
If your engine is sound but the bodywork is suffering, I'd start with the bodywork, personally...

Lighter flywheel and shorter final drive will give the most difference. Then the gearbox can transfer to a h22 swap.
