Another random q

No, not in the key of C. An H is likely involved though ...

Another random q

Post by MaccaIRL » Wed Dec 09, 2015 6:21 pm

Hey guys

I've been offered an accord type r ecu for my h22a5 prelude, will this run okay?

Mods which will be done before ecu plugged in:
ATR head rebuilt
ATR intake manifold
Custom exhaust manifold

Will it just over fuel and blow up the engine or will it actually do me any good?
Cheers and I know it's probably a bit pointless but gotta try haha

Short answer, no.

It's obd2b, runs off crank sensors not the dizzy, will need different injectors. I'm sure there will be more before you even consider immobiliser issues.

Now I'm very confused lol

The Honda breaker I'm considering buying it off says it's plug and play...
But I really am lost when it comes to ecus lol

So if I bought it would I need a wiring harness or anything?
It's from a 2001 accord type r h22a7

Really if I was going for it I would need it to be simple plug and go

You'd need a conversion harness for start before you tackle any of the other issues.

The breaker, who you're BUYING it from is telling you its a plug and play?
