I this a real deal? how will it work? will it work? How many BHP will i gain (roughly)?

Not worth the spend to be honest, you might as well use a leaf blower to be honest!!

They're a con, just like the 15bhp chips that fool the engine into thinking air is cold all the time. Avoid em.

I remember being told an Yamaha R1 engine (1000cc) running at 10,000 rpm would try and suck in 10,000 pop bottles of air every minute. Thats alot of air!!

A small electric powered blower is more likely to restrict air flow.

No way in hell is that little electric fan going to force air into the engine

Good to see the replies in this thread are done in the usual nice and friendly nature that has come to be expected from member of this place (and P.UK of course) 8-)
Have seen so many people flamed to hell and back (on various forums) for asking the very question that Vito asked. Never justified but it happens.
Far better for the community if people can feel comfortable in asking questions about these things without fear of getting ripped apart and of course far better to ask first before spending the hard earned cash on something which absolutely will do nothing other than harm performance.

Give yourselves a pat on the back 8-)

Not to mention if it breaks apart the damage it could cause!

Basically, if it costs less than a few hundered pounds it's not going to really increase performance :P

Just watching that leaf blower vid, do you think Honda see these things and wonder "what ARE they doing to our engines"

You've already decided not to do it, good move. I looked into it before as it does one of those 'too good to be true' adverts.

The bit that did it for me was the amp rating it requires to run, what you'll probably end up doing is creating a little more power by having it running which will then be drained out through the higher load on the alternator.
