Hi guys I am new to ludes
I have a 5g 2.2 vti 4ws auto and it seams to hold back about 3/4 000 rpm then it powers though to red line
Is this normal as standard ??
Any tips someone says decat maybe the way with an induction kit
Your thoughts would be nice

It might be worth checking the intake resonator behind the bumper, it's supposed to open a valve at about 3k for more airflow, if it's not opening it will choke the engine. Also worth checking the function of the secondary butterflies in the intake manifold too, which I think should open at about 4k.

Though when my 4th was an auto, I remember it being pretty flat at those revs too.

I had flat spots from the pins on the dizzy getting corroded, could be worth checking... Didn't need a new cap, was just a case of cleaning the corrosion off the pins.
