to a point yeah, what it does show tho is that you're not going to get any ram air effect unless you're doing well over 100mph with a sizeable air scoop

but you will get a temp drop at lower speeds

dude, divide your airflow rates in half, as only two cylinders are drawing in air per revolution.

Also what's after the ram air opening plays a huge factor in whether you make any positive air pressure, you would need your initial opening to smoothly enlarge whilst maintaining laminar flow into a bigger plenum where your intake filter would be located, this would all have to be fully sealed. You should then run a large velocity stack to ensure you don't create any unwanted turbulence into the inlet tract.

This all sounds easy but there is just so much involved to get it right and the design will only work the most efficiently at a set speed unless you start playing around with variable inlet size etc...

You could also throw acoustic supercharging into the mix as well.

Anybody remember the suzuki "ram air" system they used on the bikes in the 70's or are you all too young. Oh and isn't a certain person trying to do the head flip off the atr touring car

The head flip will have air direct into the itbs tho which is obviously gonna help, plus the intake area is a tad bigger
