Well I am trying to see if can obtain the part quickly, if so ill replace it and see the outcome. But speaking with a few other auto drivers who have had this problem, its resolved it for 4 out of 6 people so looks promising.
I need to empty out my friends garage where its parked as he has sold his house and moving to the other side of the country so I need this gone quick as I have no other place to store it.

I have now decided that I am going to repair this Prelude, the car is way too good to break. I'm going to see if I can repair the gearbox rather than replace it as it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem. I have narrowed it down to a sensor that sits on the gearbox and fresh pot of Honda ATF.
I'm also going to:
- Give it a full service
- Paint the rocker cover back to original
- Replace the slight blowing back box exhaust
- Refurbish the wheels, the black wheels doesn't do this car justice!
- Give it a deep polish and touch up the paint work
I will re-advertise this car one work is all complete, I have already started on it 2 weeks ago and half way through
