xenons in these would be an MOT fail tho... as they don't have projectors or wipers:(

You don't need projectors or wipers for hids. You need the correct reflector or projector housing Only.

Yes, it's only an MOT fail with HID lights on the washers etc. if they are fitted but don't work or have obviously been removed.

My Subaru had factory fit HID lights and had no washers or auto levelling system, but because they weren't fitted they couldn't be tested and so it was not a fail on that basis. They had the correct reflector in them to produce the required beam pattern and that's all that got tested.

Passed MOT on mine - as I took it to a proper MOT garage last year and it passed no probs

So maybe they not xenon's????
