H reg 3rd gen - Low mileage!

I often see this 3rd gen on the way to my mum's.

Today I saw it was up for sale, so knocked on the door.

It's owned by a retired guy called John who was very open & honest about the
car. The 'for sale' board only has a home phone number without an std code :)

I said I'd stick it on here to see if there's any interest & he let me take a few photos.

Tax ran out on 31st Dec & it's now sorn. Mot til end of Mch.

2.0i 4ws auto - only 80k miles showing but speedo stopped working recently.

He took it Honda who inspected the car & quoted mega bucks to replace speedo,
so it's up for sale.

They also pointed out split driveshaft gaiter & engine light that is due to O2 sensor.

However the car starts 1st turn of the key & runs absolutely fine.

The body work & interior look in great condition.

It's up for £500.

Looks better than mine, no rust on rear arches, tell-tale sign, surprised its got aftermarket wheels, tho', good buy for someone, should be a few spare speedos for sale on the circuit, wonder how much Honda quoted for new speedo. Wonder which warning light was on for O2 sensor, its also got the optional hi-level brake light in the rear spoiler, expensive option in its day.
