Dear all,
Need a point of view on possibly selling the prelude. Have bought a new fun car but have sold another so there is room in the garage. I have promised my wife I would sell so.......
What is a reasonable price for prelude on autotrader? (I think it will be the only manual red top on there?)
I was thinking £5300ish? ;)

123K. 2000 VTI manual. last serviced 118K. Tax & MOT until Nov 2014. FSH. looked after.
Age related marks. Cambelt done at 95K. New battery, 2 new tyres, clean weekend car. Metal sills :)
Kept in garage.
The Eagle eyed among you will notice this is the ultra rare reduced salt and sugar version.

I think £1400 sounds like a very fair price for this car. Looks in beautiful condition, as well as having service history, and plenty of T&T. ;)

I think you could ask for more than 1400, pending condition of the arches. Remember this is a 2000 plate so is the highest spec UKDM you can get. You don't see many A8 ludes up for sale so hard to judge properly.

TY Donald!

If the arches are good I reckon you'll do better than £1400. Yes it has 123k which can put off people who don't know the car but it does have decent history and cambelt. (And yes Honda reliability, 197Bhp, 99+ ratio box, 4WS, CTR beating performance, Heated seats... !).

I appreciate you don't want it hanging around, but I'd be more inclined to advertise it at £2200+ hoping to sell it for £1800+

It still looks (and is) a lot of car for that.

There's a few preludes on ebay knocking about and there going for around the money your asking for and there not as nice as yours, stick it up for 2 and see what happens
