For spares or repair. 4G 2.2 VTEC. UK car first registered Oct 1993. MOT until 30th Mar 2016. Advisory for wheel bearing play, and some minor items. Car is in Bucks, between Amersham and High Wycombe. Clutch has failed and the problem is almost certainly hydraulic. The engine and gearbox are good, though, and all the 4 wheel steer gubbins works. It drove brilliantly. The rear arches and sunroof are rusty. The leather interior pretty good apart from bolster on driver seat , and the passenger side rear seat which is water damaged . Big wodge of bills and mot certs, and original handbook and folder. Aircon needs regassing, and might leak then! Stainless cat back exhaust with 3" end bit. No stereo as I'm keeping that. Needs trailering away - or towing if brave. It's on a personal plate at the moment which I will probably retain. If so you may need to obtain new plates for whatever number is assigned to it. £195.00

Just remembered, there are a couple of extra spare wheels and tyres (orig Gen4 Honda alloys) that can go with it, if I can dig them out of the back of the shed.

Loads of pics below - sorry, got carried away.

When you say the clutch has failed, what exactly are the symptoms? Does it slip? Or does it just fail to disengage?

Fails to disengage. Pedal just goes to the floor now. Happened yesterday - gear changes got more difficult, and at first I thought my seat had moved back (!) as I was having to stretch further to de-clutch. Then went completely. Reckon one or other of the clutch cylinders has failed, but I haven't investigated at all, just going by what it feels like.

You can't get carried away with pics when selling a car imo, the more the better...

Shame about the rust on the rear arches.

What happened to the paint on the bonnet?

No idea, but I tried to polish it off and made it worse! Probably need t-cut and more elbow grease than I own.

No, not here. Going to someone who wants the engine & gearbox for his Civic.
