Hi Guys

Now on ebay!

Up for sale unfortunately is my 5th Gen which some of you will recognise, it was lude of the month a few months back. Was previously Lewish's car on here, and before that, belonged to someone else in the club too. It's been through a few incarnations and at the moment is quite different to how it first started life. The full spec is below.

Prelude 2.2 vti manual
-97000 miles
-front strut brace
-rear strut brace
-AEM V2 air intake kit
-stainless header
-decat
-Apexi cat back system
-Tein Basic Coilovers
-17 inch bbs rs replica alloys (8.5 front, 10 back)
-Motegi lip kit all round
-Genuine carbon fibre rear wing
-wind deflectors
-burnt titanium gear knob
-EP3 civic type R steering Wheel
-4WS delete
-Type S carbon fibre center and door trims (dunno the exact thing you would call these)
-Double din Screen Headunit with DVD player and GPS
-Type S half alcantara/Leather interior front and back seats
-The car had a respray half a year ago minus the boot roof and bonnet when I had the rust repaired in the rear arches (had the arches cut out, new metal welded in, and wide arches added to accomodate the wider wheels.

This is the second prelude I've had and I absolutely love this and wouldn't be selling it if it wern't for the fact i got 9 points this year and can no longer afford to insure this.

The car has been a cat C in the past, from previous owners and I believe it was because of a dented door, but as some of you know about this car, it's always been in this club and well looked after with each owner including me. I've looked after this the best I can and it's low mileage and cleaner than many around, I'm sure you guys especially on here will appreciate that.

It's got many great parts on this car which are rare and really give it quite a modern and fresh look. Sticks out a lot from your regular prelude that you see around.

The new price is 2500gbp Ono but because I need it gone in 2 weeks, make me a good enough offer, and I may just accept. The worst is I can say no.

Please feel free to drop me a text or call me on 07879643752

And seeing a regular Prelude is a rarity as it is!

Great looking lude and it was certainly a LOTM winner.

The Cat C is really going to affect this not because its not been repaired properly but Cat C/D are like car herpes they carry that jobby around forever

I love this car though glws 8-)

Heya mercutio, yea I know what u mean. I did take that into consideration but I was thinking that some very normal preludes with rust on arches and over 100k can sometimes go for 1500 and upwards, bearing that in mind and the amount of work, this is still a very clean example with some rare parts. I did say I would take 2800 but would also take sensible offers. I would have thought aswell most prelude owners on here would appreciate the work gone into a car and the history it has had in this club instead of just that it's a cat c.

i know what you mean buddy but just like you whoever buys it will be thinking of the resale value should he/she come to that decision and while it really shouldnt be a deciding factor with a car like the prelude it is quite a big factor and Cat C is a huge factor.

Maybe not to people on here but out in the real world i am afraid it is dont get me wrong i want you to get as much as possible because the more you get the more we all get

Lol yea I know, I just didn't think a category car would affect the value of a prelude much. And like u said, on here I would have thought people would appreciate the actual car rather than it is a cat c because of previous owner decided to write it off with a dented door. Why someone decided to write it off is beyond me,
