really fast prelude, and handles like a dream.. mechanically the car is brilliant

but does have its issues, I try to be honest as much as possible so I'll list what I consider needs sorting

needs 2 tyres replacing, 2 have 4-5mm tread I think (rims little corroded but whoever buys it will probably want to change for there taste in wheels)
rust on rear arches
rear bumper was quick fix, could do with repaint but I will include motegi rear lip which is not fitted.
bodywork has usual chips on bonnet
rocker could do with repaint to look 8-)

I have owned the car the last 10 years, its been loyal and awesome servant.

163,000 miles but engine work was only completed 2 years ago

big folder of history, probably everything I have spent on the car, and some history before me

please bare in mind this is race car 8-) its has poly mounts but never bothered me, handling outweighs any harshness

its has skunk2 intake and throttle body means in cold weather you will need to hold the idle when starting

replacing the crower cams for some skunk2 stage 2, you could possibly push 260bhp?

ideal car to strip and track, or with some tlc and getting the rust sorted you could have one epic prelude

£3200 not in the mood to accept any lower, its abit heart wrenching

it would cost more to have the engine built and all the extras on the car, just rust lets it down

I would suggest buying the panels from the forum and be done with it.

profile thread here: http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profile ... t3211.html

performance autoworks know the car well, I would also suggest continue taking the car to them in the future, if possible for the new owner.

I will include oem intake manifold & throttle body incase new owner would like to go back to stock for whatever silly reason

motegi rear lip, and ill throw in the projector headlights, modified with hella RHD halogen projectors (not the cheap Chinese LHD projectors) colour coded to the car, but these might need work to seal them up better.

been as comprehensive as I can, if I think of anything else I add to this thread.

don't think you will find a faster Honda for the money

Sad to see you selling up Rob, I think we began the prelude ownership near the same times back in 2007-08.. :( :(

But it's understandable that you're looking to move on..

The car is worth every penny with those mods and all the best. 8-)

I wonder if you will be back in the future. For some reason a lude owner always come back to a lude at some point in their life.

Like you say, all that wants is for someone to buy it and spend the money on the bodywork, everything else is done!

Sorry to see you selling, but very best of luck with the sale. :)
