Very regrettable sale of my really, really good 3G. It's a very late third generation Prelude automatic, registered in September 1991. Top of the range mechanical 4-wheel steer version, with full leather, (working) aircon and cruise control. It has the highest power version of the 2.0 twin cam engine, pushing out 150BHP – used in only the very last third generation cars.
The car has done approximately 74,000 miles, and has recently had a full service including: new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, alternator belt. New spark plugs (Iridium), full synthetic oil, automatic gearbox flush with the correct Honda ATF-1 fluid. New exhaust system and battery. Valve clearances adjusted. New headlamp bulbs. The tyres are newish too, and the car got a proper 4-wheel alignment done by a Honda specialist recently. New (old stock) early nineties Sony cassette stereo just fitted too, and the electric aerial works!
It drives superbly; all the gadgets work and it's an absolute joy using the 4-wheel steering. There are no known faults and it is totally consistent with a low mileage Honda. The Seattle Silver (white gold) bodywork is generally excellent, with no rust bubbles and only a few light scuffs to the bumpers. The black leather interior is superb and under bonnet it's practically like new, with a brand new fresh MOT on it too.
