You are almost into fresh import territory with that budget. As for ones already in the UK, you should be able to get a quality example
Yes, I guess that's an option. Anywhere you'd recommend?
I got mine through Torque GT who I would recommend. Though obviously there are other importers :D

You may have to wait a while which ever route you take, patience is key.

Cool, thanks. How much did you pay, if you don't mind? I take it it's a type S- wondered if you'd ever driver a European model - if so, do you notice the improvement in handling/conering with the ATTS?

Thanks Pete - shame you're not a bit nearer- I live in Coventry - so about a 2-hr drive - so not a million miles away I guess.
Did you have a Motegi for sale a few years back that was on youtube - really liked the colour?

Hi, Yes,

Sold it to a guy in London a few weeks back. It had a lot of interest but no one wanted to pay the price until the guy from London came up, out of the blue too!
One just has to be patient when both seeking or selling a Prelude. Most people don't know anything about them, at least you do!
Good luck in your search! If you want to view mine I could meet you halfway somewhere, No pressure to buy!!

Pete

@TwinRing In regards to comparisons with non ATTS Preludes, well I have owned 3 x 4th gen Preludes all with 4WS. I have never had a 5th gen with 4WS though. Compared the cars with 4WS it is a totally different experience. For track or fast road driving, the ATTS is miles better, I actually found the 4WS a bit weird at high speeds, I didn't like the feel of it. For parking and normal driving it was great though. I have owned a DC5 and an Accord Type R, and to me it is really hard to separate them and my Type S with ATTS. They all handle so well and inspire confidence through the corners, the ATTS is a different feeling to the other 2, like it is pulling you round the corner, it almost feels like it shouldn't be able to do what it is doing. Of the 3 I would say the Type S wins it but I am biased :D
