Looking for 5th Gen Lude

Post by TwinRing » Fri Jun 28, 2019 9:51 pm

Hi all,

New to this forum.

I bought a 5th Generation 2.2 Prelude about 2 years ago, sold it and bought an ep3 type R with stage 2 I believe (manifold,
intake etc), 0-60 probably just under 6, but speed isn't everything, and kind of regret selling the lude now, miss the 4WS, the sound it made when you started it up, (love the old start-up Honda sounds) the old dials, and looks, is that weird?!

So, here I am looking for another 5th gen lude. Ideally, looking for a low mileage Motegi, or poss a type S (know they don't have 4WS, but have ATTS).

Budget in the region of £4,500-£5,000, although could go a bit higher for the right one. Plus, need to shift my ep3 first.

Thanks!

Would you consider an auto? Could always swap it to manual at some point.

You should be able to get a really good 5G for your budget.
Good luck with the search.

No, it's got to be a manual, sorry. Thanks anyway

You are almost into fresh import territory with that budget. As for ones already in the UK, you should be able to get a quality example

Yes, I guess that's an option. Anywhere you'd recommend?
