1998 Honda Prelude 2.0 MKV, Manual, 94K Miles, MOT April 2020, Silver

Hi all,

Hope you are all well, sorry I haven't posted recently I've been really busy and got a bit shafted buying bits for a manual conversion (nobody on here!) which has meant I've not been feeling like Lude-ing much recently!
Anyway, as I've got myself a 2.2 that needs to be stashed away for winter, my first Lude is now taking up precious driveway space and so is sadly up for sale.
Shamelessly copied from my Gumtree ad:

For sale is my 1998 Honda Prelude in Silver.
This is a relatively low mileage example having covered just 94K miles across three owners (including myself) in the last 21 years.

In terms of history there is very little until I purchased the car three years ago - a service from 2001 and then nothing until a service in 2011 and a major service in 2013 from the previous owner.
Over the first year that I owned the car I replaced/serviced the following:
- Spark Plugs (NGK V-Power)
- Air filter for a K&N panel filter
- Oil and filter change (HAMP short filter/Castrol GTX)
- Fuel filter change (Genuine Honda)
- MTF Change
- Clutch cylinder flush and bleed

Car was also upgraded to a 282mm setup from the 2.2 model with the following:
- New discs and pads all round, brakes bled
- Calipers powder coated and rebuilt all around by BCS

4 wheel alignment done in June 2018.

The car is due for a full service and the last receipt for the Cambelt I have is from the major service in 2013. The car has only covered 25k miles on the current belt but is 6 years old (the service interval is every 5 years or 60k miles whichever comes first). The rear tyres are also on the legal limit for tread so will need replacing.

The front bumper was scraped last year while the car was parked up, the bumper and headlight were both pushed back slightly however I have readjusted them back in line with the car. The previous owner had a question mark keyed into the boot and there is a small dent in the passenger door. There is a small amount of rust in the drivers side A pillar.
The air conditioning and passenger side window do not work.
The door cards on both sides are scratched however apart from that the interior is immaculate.

Overall the car has been brilliant in the 3 years I've owned it but I've now upgraded to a 2.2 model and as a result it has been sat for the last 2 months.
The car has been fantastic to me and has never broken down or left me stranded (I turned it over at the weekend and it fired straight up). I will be sad to see it go but now it's time to give someone else some happy memories.

I have tried to be as honest as possible however please contact me if you have any more queries.

Bump! Nobody interested?
Would be willing to let go cheaper than elsewhere if I knew it was going to a loving forum member.

Maybe a price would help ;)
Oops you're right!
I'm not entirely sure what it's worth so I've started out at a price of £800.

Sold on Ebay, buyer now saying he doesn't want it so that was a waste of a week and £12. Flipping hate Ebay.
Can't give this car away which is a shame since it's such a reliable, fun car for the money!

Still for sale.

What a gentleman's sausage! You can claim your money back mind, and give them a strike! Don't let them get away with it!

Indeed, I raised a complaint against the and they messaged me telling me to cancel it even after I explained that I had to raise a complaint to get my fees back.

In happier news a nice lad and his dad came and agreed to buy the car today so now sold pending payment - more money to invest in the BB8!
