My 1999 Type S For Sale - SOLD

Post by ATR84 » Mon Nov 16, 2020 5:41 pm

My Type S is for sale, officially.

Sorry this is a bit of a lazy advert because there is already an Ebay ad - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Prelud ... Swk-pfrr7t

Also, all the details you could possible want are on my build thread which you can find a link to in my signature.

Advertised at £8500.

End of an era, my 3rd gen will be staying as a daily runabout until I take delivery of a Yaris GR in March/April time. At which point I will sell that as well. I wasn't planning on selling up, I wouldn't have just bought the 3rd gen otherwise but the Yaris has turned my head and is a perfect opportunity to go back down to 1 car. I could not bring myself to use the Type S daily because it is so good for it's age. Probably a bit of a waste but hey, it's in exceptional condition.

I’ve lucky enough to hold on to this car for a bit longer then I thought even with the current pandemic.

Good luck with the sale.

My head has been turned by the GR. The Type S is in such good condition I just can't bring myself to use it on wet or salty roads which means I end up having 2 cars.

I'll be interested in the 3rd Gen when you're ready, I'd love to say I'll 💯% have it but so many things can change between now and then. Your type s is stunning!

Hondas are for driving, not pampering!

Perhaps you are right but I have enjoyed taking mine to shows and meets where it has been complimented on it's condition. If I had used it daily since I had it, it would not be in the condition it's in now. However, to each their own and I do see the value in actually driving these cars more regularly, it's just not something I want to do.

I'm with you Mike, agree with Nalla that the Prelude is for driving, but, like you it's no longer a daily and not a car you want spoilt by harsh salty UK roads.
Would love to use the Motegi as a daily except i walk to work so don't need a daily.

Good luck with the sale, whoever buys is in for a treat
