Latest pics are here;
Current pics

Been messed aroubd on ebay twice now and really need it gone. Each time it has sold for in the region of 500 quid and they buyer hasnt paid. So its here for 500.

For sale is my much loved 1992 honda prelude 2.2 vtec manual japanese import.
I will be very sad to see it go, but i just dont have the time for it anymore.

It has sat for a few years now, and i took it for mot yesterday. it didnt do as badly as i was expecting, mostly bulbs and ball joint related stuff, but also a few items related to the 4ws, which needs arguing as i replaced it all with a 2ws subframe, so i dont see how that works... i will update with the mot failure sheet soon, along with more recent pictures of the car. A few days before it was parked up it had 4 new tyres, uniroyal rainsport 3's on
the front and advan ad808s on the rear.

Full aftermarket bodykit, 17" alloys, AEM air intake, vented carbon fibre bonnet, Value sport type 1 rear spoiler, custom leather
interior, short shift adaptor, Spoon chipped ECU, tanabe limit AX manifold, aftermarket rear silencer, front and rear upper strut braces,
front lower strut brace.

i converted it to 2 wheel steer a few years ago, but i have 2 sets of 4 wheel steer
rack/subframe if you wanted to convert it back to 4ws.

bad points:
Rusty rear drivers side arch, and a bit of rust coming up next to the rear windscreen.

Dent in passenger door thanks to a lovely neighbour who gave me his word on paying for the damages, last time i make that mistake.

tear in the drivers seat bolster.

Loses coolant, been like it for the 5 years i have owned it and never managed to find the leak, my guess is its a pinhole leak in
one of the pipes that only leaks under pressure.

The fast idle thermo valve is bad. what this means is the revs hunt when idle after the car has reached operating temperature.
it doesnt effect the drive at all, and it has never cut out when idling, its just annoying.

I also have a garage full of spares and extras that will come with the car. this list is coming off the top of my head so there
will be a lot more stuff then listed, but the notable stuff is as follows:

Aftermarket Mountney steering wheel (requires a boss to fit)
rear lower strut brace.
Spare veilside style front bumper as on the car. cracked but repairable.
differently styled aftermarket rear bumper
bucket seat on solid prelude rails, never fitted as i liked the leather interior too much.
set of Electro luminescent dials with loom
2 x sets of 4 wheel steer subframe/steering rack
spare stock ecu
factory bonnet in red
couple of spare sunroof and sunroof assemblies.
couple of stock spoilers
loads of interior bits and peices.
Loads of basic spares, too many to list.
Pair of vented fibreglass wings, never fitted but slight damage to corners.

A van will be required to take the spares.

I will even chuck in my racing helmet as i wont have any need for it anymore!

Please note the paintwork and general condition of the exterior lets the car down, but to me that was all part of the fun.
People get very upset when they cant keep up with the "banger" in their shiny new car! always put a smile on my face.

I only have a couple weeks before i lose my off road parking space for it, and at the point its probably going to have to go to the scrapyard, so im going to be taking what i can get for it.
Im really hoping one of you guys will be able to offer me a fair price for it. i would imagine breaking it for parts would be quite a good earner if you have the space.

I will add recent pics of the car soon, but for now:

wow i will always remember this car, still see it in my head driving very early one morning to castle coombe :(

any chance of some pictures of how it stands now please, especially like the rear arches? and the door dent, but pics from all over would be useful, then people can weigh up if it can be saved or broken for parts.

They were great times! im gonna miss it like crazy.

Yeah i will update the thready wiith current pics and some pics of some of the collection of parts that will come with the car. will get as in depth as possible with them so people know exactly what they are looking at. im guessing its more likely someone will want to break the car, but we will see. it will be a sad day for me to see it broken for sure.

Im not gonna put a price on it, because unfortunately i am in a situation where i am going to have to take what i can get for it.

Once the rest of the pictures and the mot sheet are uploaded, you are more then welcome to make an offer, and i will be considering all the offers i get. im hoping that someone will offer me a fair price for it as generally all the ludegenners are awesome people.

the amount of rust will likely determine the fix/break side of the car, but under that big kit could hide more than meets the eye so people will be cautious.

some good value of parts there

some good photos mate but modified 4th gens have had their day in the sun and oem is where it has been for the last few years
i think you will struggle to sell it unless you name a low price especially as it has no mot and needs work. ( i might be wrong tho)
Would be good for spares but still hope you can get it gone to a good home where it can be fixed up and enjoyed again as much you enjoyed it
