Lude Generation

After all my searching, I am selling the Prelude lol.

Basically I am being made redundant from my job and the plan was to buy a cheap car, sell Eddie (my 2007 Golf GTI Edition 30) and go to college, but I never got a place so I am applying to work offshore as a steward. But I get to keep my Golf

For those that never saw the original thread, the car is a 92 import 2.2 manual in cassis red pearl, 75000 miles, manual, with 4 wheel steer and rust free arches.

I paid £600 plus taxed it for 6 months, so I want £700 for it.

Really nice car to drive, engine purrs like a kitten, no rattles. Brand new tyres & front discs and pads this year, it brakes fine and in a straight line. Recent new aircon compressor, regassed and changed to R134 classification.

Engine oil and filter were also changed recently, and new wipers added, and a CD player with USB connectivity.

Sell the Golf and keep the Lude

I love my Golf mate, tried to sell it last year and bought a Rav4 T180, but backed out at the last minute and sold the Rav4 to my old man. I think part of buying this Prelude was midlife crisis, I had one back in my early years of driving and loved it

This car runs fault free, I recently drove it from Bedford to Inverness and averaged 33mpg

You could potentially get more for it than £700 bud. Fair enough if you want a quick sale though

I could ask for more but I just want my money back, not bothered about profit. Although I did pay for a plane fare down and the petrol back up, it wouldn't be right to try and get that back.
