Tastefully modified 4th Gen Prelude. Spoon, Mugen Tein+more

Post by garage12 » Tue Nov 13, 2012 4:54 pm

Bought this car a few months ago and put it through an mot, passed no problem, zero advisories. This is my 3rd 4th gen after 2 standard UK vtecs. Reason for sale is that it just doesn't get enough use. Doubt I've done 500 miles since I purchased it. Car currently has 9 months MOT and 3 months tax till the end of January. Got loads of paperwork and reciepts with it that i haven't sifted through yet. Started of life as a 2.0l and is still registered as that on the V5.

Recent work done -
Supply and fit new radiator at Performancetek [£200]
Front bumper and spoiler - repair and repaint [£200]
Refurbish 4 wheels in gloss black [£200]

4 x Brembo Brake Pads [£50]
4 x Brembo Brake Discs [£140]
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit [£250]
New car battery [£65]

KV85 magnecor ignition leads
HKS iridium spark plugs
5w40 fully synthetic oil
Gloss white rocker cover
5th gen type s intake
Blue flame performance cat replacement and cat back (2.25inch) with Twin 2" exhaust tips

Sounds good but you might want to edit out your numberplate. Not too sure if it's wise to advertise on a public forum that you've swapped engines and not changed the V5 ;) At least not until the official paperwork has come through from the DVLA, I'm sure it's in the post :hurr:

This is Shas old car. Shas did all the work then sold it on exactly ss above, It was originally an F22B and he threw an H22 in there and got it fully resprayed. Rust obviously returned immeadiately.

Apart from the rust its a minter and its snap it up.

This is correct. There is a buildup thread on preludeUk about the car entitled Project X. It really is a good solid car apart from the rear arches letting it down.

It's a shame to see it being broken, but that is the way the wind is blowing these days :(

If it gets broken I'll have the Unorthodox Racing lightened pulley set (crank, alternator, power steering)
