Probably better off financially to break it for parts I'm afraid.

Rob may be right. What are the warning lights on the dash? Boot open and door open? What is the other one on the top left? ABS?

Hiya, yes my thoughts as well. it kills me to think about that though lol  . The dash light are just ABS and indication the doors open, I took the pic just to show engine running :)

I know, its a shame to break a car. I just dont think there is a lot of worth in bringing it back :( Actually I think the lights are simply handbrake on, boot, and door lights. Is that correct?

If it just had a few mechanical issues, someone would buy it. Unfortunately its rusty (probably the worst rust i've seen on a 5th generation) and the cost to get rid of the rust would Be huge....much, much more than the vehicle is worth.

I presume the rust has eaten away at the rear arches too?

yes thats right, I just went to have a look, I had doors open for airing and hand break on so thats the dash lights, cheers for pointing it out. Maybe someone will have it as a project (wishful thinking) :-?

as for the rust, nothing except what I have shown on bonnet and boot, and agreed its pretty bad. everything else ok :)

Maybe worth seeing if you can pick up a replacement bonnet and boot then?

Come on people, it's easy enough to swap bonnets and bootlids if that's the only place the rust is.
They're not enough reason to kill the car
