I purchased the car in November and am selling as I recently purchased a Honda Legend as I required a larger car.
The Prelude has been faultless, (with the exception of the battery which was replaced a few weeks ago) and has returned an average of 28mpg with combined driving.
The bodywork has the usual marks for a car of this age but comes up well when polished. There is some slight surface rust on the rear arches.
This is the second JDM Vtec Prelude I have owned, and has the standard high spec features with full electronic windows, electronic folding mirrors, cruise control etc which all work as they should. It also has a full leather interior which is in good condition. There is some wear on the drivers side bolster but no rips or tears.
The engine is a 197bhp JDM H22 which works great with Vtec engaging at 5200 rpm. This works well with the 4 speed automatic box, especially in sports mode. I have serviced the car myself using genuine Honda parts and have also changed the transmission fluid.
The car is standard, with the only exception being the after market Japspeed exhaust system with was purchased by the previous owner. It has good tyres all round along with uprated drilled and grooved brakes. The wheels would benefit from a refurb.
