1998 Black Manual VTi (Black top engine)

Post by Tom » Mon Apr 08, 2013 10:09 pm

Hi Guys

Some of you may remember me from Prelude:UK where I used to post a few years back. The time has come to part with my Lude, and as this now seems to be the place to be, I thought I'd pop an ad up here.

So, I'm selling my very well looked after VTi manual Prelude. Excellent service history with the last few years of servicing and work carried out by Performance Autoworks. If you know your Preludes, then you'll know who I'm talking about. I've kept on top of everything over the years and have the receipts to show it - there will be no nasty surprises with this car.

Car is ultra reliable, everything works, there is no body rust. There are some cosmetic scuffs on the plastic bodywork parts though, so if you want some detailed pictures, get in touch.

It features ultra light Rota Slipstream wheels, and sits on Eibach springs (original springs supplied as well). At around 100k miles it had an Exedy clutch and Fidanza lightweight flywheel fitted. All in all, the car drives and handles brilliantly. There is also an official Motegi front lip fitted (which I will throw in if the car goes for a good price, otherwise I'll sell it separately).

Comes with Air Con, Cruise Control, good CD player, electric sunroof, all the usual.

Tax and MOT due in September.

Bad points - the aforementioned scuffs on the bumper, and the cambelt was last done at around 80k miles, so will need doing in the not too distant future.

I accept the price might be a bit higher than most models of this age, but most examples have not been as well looked after as this. Keep taking the car to PA and you won't find yourself with big unexepected repair bills.

£1350.
