1993 4th Generation Prelude, Mot til August and tax to September, Blue, sunroof, aircon and TCS. It has a new battery, 4 new tyres that didn't squeal too much around the Ring coz it was wet most of the time, and it also has D2 Performance Suspension that makes it handle like a Go Kart.
There is a small rusty hole nsr wheel arch and a dent os behind drivers door. The mileage-o-meter doesn't work and reads 71399. Looking through the receipts that came with the car it would appear not to have worked since at least 2008. The receipts also lead me to believe that the car had a new clutch in 07, a steering rack in 09 and a timing belt in 2011.
The car has a 4WS problem. It works but needs resetting most journeys. The light appears to come on almost every time I reverse which the local Honda dealer thinks may indicate an ABS fault. The best it managed in Germany was nearly half a lap and came on accelerating out of Wehrseifen, which I was pleased with considering the light normally comes on going to work.
I'm only selling the car because its done what I originally bought it for and that was a trip to the Nurburgring, which it coped with very well. Having just washed and polished it I'm having second thoughts about getting rid of it because it looks "the dogs," sounds "the dogs" and goes very well indeed, but, unfortunately, I have nowhere to keep it and it isn't practical for me to hang on to it. The previous owner died while out fishing so it may take an expert/enthusiast to suss out exactly what's been done to it.
There are several spares that come with it, exhaust manifold, a couple of new discs, a drivers door window and a few smaller bits and bobs.
I'd like around £1195 for it but will haggle. The car is in Maidstone but will be in Newark at the beginning of next week.
