Type S for sale

Post by handsomedanc » Tue Oct 08, 2013 4:29 pm

:( ` Reluctantly im selling the Type S. Despite my best efforts to afford to run it i just cant do it anymore also ive had something else come up all of a sudden that has sapped my funds. so with great heart felt reluctance its For Sale.

1996 P reg 2.2 Type S
119000 miles (approx will climb due to daily use)
Pearl white
MOT until 28/02/14
Tax runs out at the end of Oct will happily re tax for new owner
New aero wiper blades all round
Lots of mods and details as follows

Interior:
Defi oil pressure and temp guages + Defi control box.
Half red dash
Double din touch screen CD/DVD player with usb port and SD card Some amp in the boot (dont know much about these things)
Full Type S interior in brilliant condition

Engine:
H22 block with skunk 2 intake mani.
BDL fuel rail
Full stainless powerflow exhaust system
Alloy Race Radiator
Long Ram AEM Induction kit with resonator removed
Full Set of AEM Pulleys
BDL adjustable cam gears
Racing Spec Earthing kit
Magnecore leads
Exhaust also has a 4 point monitoring sensor with read out in the cabin.
hondata 200 ecu and full map carried out with cert unfortunately no BHP read out but i would guess approx 240ish

Chassis:
Pretty standard to be honest. but rocking TEIN superstreet coilovers :)
Clifford Alarm System (with cert) and spare fob

Bad bit:
Paintwork is in good condition. there is a bubble on the passenger door about the size of a 10p
Some spidering/cracking of paint work on the front bumper
Rear bumper has a few cracks and blemishes
Wheels 3 black one green this is an area that is fully functional but not too my taste they were like this when i bought them i had hoped to change them for some oem wheels but i never had the money.

Just had the rear nearside wheel bearing replace and the near side track rod end will be done asap just waiting for the part.
this car is now 17 years old but doesnt look or drive like it. i dont want to sell but unfortunately i have to.
I think the previous owner was planning on turboing the car and its what i was gunna do but money yet again has got in the way.

Ive been as honest as i can be but should anyone have any questions please dont hesitate to ask

i paid a lot more for this car but im asking £2600 ovno

No timewasters please. i cant afford to let this go "cheap" hence the ovno so dont be offering me 2k because itll be a short answer.
Thanks for your time
Dan

Have those ATTS cooling pipes been bypassed? They look like they pass under the battery tray instead of going down towards the left of the exhaust manifold.

All the ecu work and remapping was done by cpl racing. A reputable company. I would have assumed it woukd be done properly. I have receipts for the work sone. Infact I have a shitload of paperwork including jap manuals :)

Yer reputable company but havnt taken into account atts needs obd2 to work and hondata is standalone ecu. Atts won't work until original ecu is put back in and piggy back tunned from the like of greddy emanage ultimate.

The 2 atts hoses that pass over the transmission look like they have been looped since they normally go into the radiator. The radiator looks new and I assume its a manual transmission rad where the s needs an auto rad for atts trans fluid cooling.

@RattyMcClelland- I assume the ATTS cooling pipes are the two metal pipes below the dizzy that become rubber pipes?

If so the go to their own little cooler in front of the aircon rad.

The pic isnt good quality but you can make it out beneath the horn
