Ok guys. Thankyou for the posts. Dbo yes I have learnt the hard way again, but NOT anymore. I shall phone you if I have any concerns, or need any advice on things, as long as that is ok with you?

I feel very stupid now :shock: :oops:

Like I said I know feck all about cars and whats best for performance etc for my car.

But as it is a 2.3 there isn't a great deal I can do I have been told. I mean you can not use a spoon chip to remap the ecu on this model which is a bit annoying, or any chip for that matter-and as dbo knows I wont be going down that path again after the damage lasttime!

Think its time I just accept my lude for what it is, unless anyone else has some suggestions-which I am prepared to save for. Just which I did my research and brought the 2.2 VTEC model now.

and most of us just blag it and pretend we know what were on about anyway :D

Exactly, I mean look at bris. Been in the Prelude gang for years and still manages to ruin engines.

you can ring me anytime you know that m8 ;) and we can always put the question out on here for all the right answers :D

granted there is not much play room with the 2.3i auto but the 2.2 vtec auto only has more low end torque than you ;) at top end you would leave the 2.2 for dead m8 :P

would love for you too come see Ian at IB Motorsports (my mechanic) all at mates rates and he would just advise basic service and renewal of worn parts and small doable mods ;) you could only really gain small bhp gains but all your loss of power is just the same as me :( not enough money to do regular service to keep her 100% :oops:

but small jobs on a steady basis will still add up too one happy lude and one happy luder :lol:

Id be very happy to use your mechanic, hopefully he will throw some good advice across to me as well.
