Looking here, they all seem to be piped the same way as yours, though I can't understand why the purge control diaphragm on the EVAP is not connected to the purge control valve?

I think I'll follow everyone else's and T the top of the EVAP into general vacuum/intake control and put the loose pipe onto 3. Though it feels wrong.

So, does anyone know what the original part is that has the vac pipe. Part of climate control?

DaveyBa8 wrote:yea but that pic you posted is number 13 thats the bypass that controls the coolant for the heatermatrix. you cant see number 3 in your pic. i think that diagram is abit off as i dont even no if we have a purge control solenoid
Not sure that's correct. The bypass control diaphragm (line 13) sits on the right of the inlet manifod and controls the internal butterfiles, and is different to what's pictured.

The part I've pictured isn't on the diagram at all!

oh lol i thought by looking at the pick thats what it was called. its an actuator of some sort that must control flow of coolant for something.

Yea, I think you're right, it does something like that, I'll have a good look for it in the manual later, it'll be there somewhere.
