I've had mine 5 years in October and I've only changed them once as part of a service.

Just checked my rebuld bill from PAW and they put NGK PZFR6F-11 Platinums in
PAW rebuilt 98 prelude 228bhp & 171lb/ft R.I.P.
PAW rebuilt 01 ATR 238bhp & 164lb/ft sold
Monte Carlo Blue 02 S2K :D

last time i bought platinum ngk plugs from Honda main dealer i paid £120 :o that was about 8 or 9 years ago
moneys a bit tighter now so i go for iridium ngk plugs at £40 and fit them myself - cant say ive had any problems with the iridium plugs as far as im aware they dont last as long but you should get at least a couple of years use out of them
