4g fidanza flywheel timing mark

Hi

Just tried to set the base ignition timing on our 4g VTEC & have found that the fidanza flywheel appears to only have a single timing mark (scribed notch)

Question is does anyone know if it's a TDC mark or a timing mark (indicating 15degs BTDC) ??

If anyone has any pics of how far their dizzy appears twisted round this might help!

With the notch sighted in the little v marker in the inspection hole, your engine should be at TDC.

Cool- thought as much. That means its running no advance at all at the minute

So to set 15degs I need to set 15degs offset on my light & twist dizzy til the marks line up again! Simples

Should go a bit better too I'd wager

The dizzy will be twisted well towards its stops to achieve it (anti-clockwise viewed from drivers side)- does that sound about right??
