Yea this /\. Also we may have a spare o2 sensor socket that i could send you to use. But will have to check tomorrow at work for you. Would give you the best chance of getting it out. :)

How does the socket come out the? cheers chris.
*Edit* you mean a ratchet socket for getting the sensor out?

I will pop in and have a chat with the guy today and see how many times he is willing to get me on the emissions tester. if he is happy to do it a couple of times i will bung some cataclean in and take it in, if its still over i'll do the o2 sensor, still over i'll change the cat, still over a jaunt to salisbury!

Yea its a socket the slides over the o2 sensor loom and will not round it off. It has a gap in the main body to accommodate the loom. Just had a look and we only have the one. Was told our second one was broken and thrown :?

I think it is 22mm. Can anyone else confirm this?
Anyone of the sockets on the link should be fine as you just need a notch in the socket to get the o2's wire out of the way.

So i called in to see the mot guy today and he is cool about the emissions retesting. gonna wait for that socket to arrive and will have a crack and changing the lambda sensor then chuck a bottle of cataclean through the system and go for a retest. hopefully wont have to change the cat!
