second cooling fan removal question? ?

The origional fans are heavy and not as effective as some slim fans. The fan shroud does help a bit.
If I was going to do it all over again from the start I would remove both fans and replace them with two 14" slim fans.

But as said.. If your afraid of overheating in traffic, leave it in. If you want to shed some weight, ditch it. You can always put it back or get a slimfan.

I like the idea of having the 2 fans especially with the heat we are getting just now it helps alot it was purely just to tidy up the bay really but will leave it in for now and look into getting an upgrade onthe radiator and slimline fans
