U2Q7 LSD in M2V5 box with M Factory final drive?

This has probably been covered before but I can't find an exact answer, can you mate the LSD out of a ATR box into the ludes M2V5 box and then add an M factory final drive? Thinking of going 5.15.

Yes you can. Carrisma recently put up some detail on how the LSD from the U2Q7 fits into other Lude gearboxes.

I don't think there is enough difference between the M2P4 and M2V5 to make what is in that post not applicable to you.


TBH 5.15 is way too much for a road car, the 4.64 is just livable on the road.

Okay thank you, didn't know whether to go for the 5.15 because it's different and will be a bit mad. Does anyone on here have the 5.15 fitted?

No-one I know of. Off the top of my head me (track), Rich (track) from PAW, Ratty (road) and Carrisma (road) all have the 4.64FD.

As Merlins beard said 5.15 is epically overkill on a road car.
4.64 is only just daily drivable. At 70mph on the m2p4 box I'm at 3800rpm and I feel like I need a 6th gear. I hit to speed Aat around 138mph, no more revs left.

I bloody love it though.

I'd only use a 5.15fd on a 5 speed box is for rallyx or autox type racing.
