OK so N/A high compression pistons. And with boost you run higher boost to increase the compression.
I used to have fiat coupe turbos and that's what some people would do, use lower compression pistons and a big turbo. Some people were getting 400 bhp doing that. Shame the engines were partly build from pasta though :/

Don't boost a stock h22. Just don't. Na only or rebuild the engine properly for boost.

I had wondered about that. I've read about a few people who seem to be turboing stock h22's. Makes sense not to.
What about a supercharger though, still a no no on stock?

Still a no no. If you want to boost with turbo or supercharger you will need to have new sleeves fitted to the block.

Thanks for your help guys so general consensus is to go with h22a7 engine but i cant change engines so will stick with thr a5.

What is the CC on the ATR fuel injectors and should i use these or buy uprated fuel injectors, is so what CC is best?

Also what is the throttle body size on the OEM h22a8 engines(original engine of car) and would i need to upgrade this? I've been told to upgrade to 70mm throttle body? Also would you recommend to upgrade the fuel pump?

Some guidance on ECU needed as well, i dont know which one to get but have been recommended to Rich at performance autoworks for the mapping of the ECU. What is the best ECU and what can i expect to pay for the ECU and map?

Stinkypaul could you direct me to the topic with the performance parts please, im deffo interested.
