Timing belt change in Bristol area

Post by paul bristol uk » Fri Aug 24, 2012 9:10 pm

I had mine done about 5 years ago(probably 5k on it since) so I don't need one. If any forum members need theirs changing he charges £100 plus parts(and he doesnot stiff you on those either) My bill for belt and balencer belt? was £160 then including a spring that had broken on the tensioner. So if you are local and think its a good price and need it doing give me a PM,

I am not punting for business for him it was just one of those things that come up in conversation while discussing this body/spray problem that is still ongoing.

PS he also picks up and delivers your car back.

Good price, I'd be tempted if I wasn't doing it all and more myself now. Bargain.

If you have the correct parts he would be happy to fit them as well so you are just paying the labour.

That's certainly cheaper than the standard Honda 'happiness' price (~£250). Nice to have a recommendation as well. Shame I had mine done last year!

Best wishes, Colin
