Throttle body size + intake

Post by Danni22 » Mon Oct 29, 2012 5:06 pm

Hey lads I'm making my own induction kit to plumb it into a recess in the bay.

My question is what size are most induction kit sizes I was thinking 70mm intercooler piping into a 45* reducer to the 60mm for the throttle body

Would theses sizes be ok lads?

Is the throttle body 60mm??

Thanks

On a regular lude yeah. On the Type-S, S-SPEC, H22a8, and H22a7 ATR use a 62mm.

its bit more into it then slap pipe on TB, you must be good in flow numbers to beat OEM designe

I'm making my own induction piping that not my own inlet manifold..

Just making sure the tb was 60mm and using 70mm pipe into a 60mm reducer would work..

With the induction kit piping do I need to vent the rocker cover into it or can I place a filter on it?

What do you lads think will look better catch can or filter, but don't forget it's a tight bay haha

Mind if I go for a catch can could I then route the other breather on the passengers side of the rocker to the catch can?
