mercutio - part of my job involves visiting farms and other silly places with unadopted roads and bumpy tracks, so I decided to keep the car at standard distance from the ground!

I do have a set of lowering shocks/springs hanging in the garage ... maybe one day.

Angus wrote:Thanks, vanzep - didn't notice your post in time and have ordered one off the tinternet which is specified as "2.2 VTEC Import cars only" - so I'm hoping it has the holes in the right places! 620/625 seems to be pretty standard for mounts - it's the core sizes that appear to vary. Looks like 350-68-32 is BB4 spec.

I have a selection of fans and shrouds in the garage vultured off scrap cars - so should get something to fit.
Yep - the BB4 rad is thicker for greater cooling
Good idea to have a couple of spare fans - ive done the same. ;)

Read your post about when you repainted your lude with post office red 2pack - good to know that as i will be looking at a partial/full respray later this year.

I like the fact that your using your lude as a work horse 8-)

Ha. You dinna want to see my garage. I get constant grief off the missus for the amount of "just in case" bits I have in there. Every so often a bunch of it goes off down the skip, but it soon mounts up again. :)

And yeah, I use my car for work. Have to keep myself entertained somehow. I must admit it's not as handy as my old ST185 GT4s were, but it uses plenty less petrol! I do environmental regulation, so get to go to scrappies a lot - which means I'm first to hear of any Ludes that appear (one place has even kept one for me for the last couple of years which has been a lifesaver) cos they like to keep on the right side of me!
