Fair play. Depends what you, @performanceautoworks is your man if you do a h22 build! Rich has built a few of these motors (including mine) and probably knows more about the motor than Mr Honda himself!

With the parts you listed you'd be looking in the 250-275 bhp @flywheel ball park
PAW rebuilt 98 prelude 228bhp & 171lb/ft R.I.P.
PAW rebuilt 01 ATR 238bhp & 164lb/ft sold
Monte Carlo Blue 02 S2K :D

Thats nice for an N/A build. And the sound of an N/A engine, you just can NOT beat that!

Actually, I just noted that the A8 does have different prat numbers for everything from the exhaust manifold backwards, compared to all the other UK 'Ludes. So Carrisma's list probably is right, after all.

Like said, you might as well start with a better base. H22A8 or H22A7 or a genuine Redtop H22A. :)

If your going to build an engine why bother to buy an A7 or A8? Once the guts have been ripped out the only real difference is that the A7 & A8 have a 55mm crank. I can see the point in buying either of those two engines if you plan to make use of the 11:1 pistons, but if your not using them its throwing money down the drain IMO.

Im unsure of what to do atm. First things are getting coilovers, 2WS conversion done, wheels powdercoated and some good tyres on and then MOT the car.
