Balance shaft belt?

We removed the balancer belt from the ATR without having to take off the crank pulley.
The rest of the gubbins has been left in for now to make sure the seals still function, so the extra mass is still in there. At least it's not rotating.
Apparently, one of Vtec Direct's customers ran a test: balancer shaft removal = approx. 3hp. I can't say we've noticed.

Ive not noticed any power increase. But tbh, i don't think you would notice 3hp. The only thing i did notice is that i think my motor runs smoother. But could be the placebo affect
