cheers @Drax looks like ive had a bit of good fortune there :)
I found a comparison of b4 and after on Rosko Racing web site so that bit looks good.

looks like i need to grind some clearance at 2 points at the top flange and relocate the brake booster to the back of the manifold - if thats all that needs done then id be more than happy.

thinking of fitting this as stage 1, stage 2 would be cams and stage 3 Hondata and tune

yes Rosko have some good guides for things like that, well remembered!

the only thing id say now is if you fit the atr mani before a tune, you will loose power and torque until it has been tuned with the Hondata, so don't expect any improvements straight away :) the atr/type s/a8 cams can be put in straight away for a slight increase in power without tuning, but with tuning they will yield even more

I'm fitting the ATR inlet to my racecar and is it just the top where the injector sits that needs widening and then fit my H22 fuel rail and injectors?

you need to unshroud the injector ports if your using the prelude injectors the atr injectors have a better spray pattern apparently and can be used you also need to either weld up or drill tap and use grub screws in the little holes in the flange face of the intake.
As well as all that you need to grind down the high points on the intake flange face above the bolt hole so it will mate to the p13 head.

ATR mani onto H22A head
One thing that im not 100 percent sure of is the need to grind down the high points on the flange above the bolt holes - i have also seen on some modded atr manifolds with some grinding./clearance on the bottom of the flange.
Question is does this definately need to be done or can you just use a Hondata thick thermal gasket as some web info suggests :?

Hopefully someone else has experience of this too.

Like I said to you the other night I have a regular P13 head on my H22a and my PDE/ATR intake manifold does not have ground down flanges. My Hondata intake manifold gasket spaces out the IM enough to bypass any clearance problems. The fact that Rosko says this as well should validate that solution.

If you buy a Hondata intake manifold gasket you are more than welcome to try your ATR IM against my spare H22a2 (also P13 head). You will need to buy a new IM gasket anyway, although the OEM gaket is ~£22 Vs the Hondata at around £50-£60.
