There will be a separate control unit for the immobiliser unit. As for bypassing it, that is something I cannot help you with. I can tell you that the control unit talks with the engines ecu. So bypassing it could be a long winded process. If it's intermittently not unlocking the immob unit, you could try getting Honda to recode the key on (providing you have the red key??), (can't remeber if it should have a red key actually :think: )Sometimes this works. It will either be the control unit or the receiver unit at fault. And unfortunately, the control unit will be coded with a red key. Oh dear :facepalm:

It's a 97,it's a 5g, if you have a jdm ecu that'd be great

Ah ok. Arnt the jdm's a higher compression tho :? So different ECU map?? I don't know much about the 5th gen tbf. :?

Spoke to a few auto sparks and they don't reckon it can be by passed
