Even with a 4.64 final drive at 80mph I'm at 4400rpm on the m2p4. Max out around 135mph on the rev limiter.
I love my box.

The U2Q7 box works very well in an ATR and gives a secure feeling when cornering hard.
As to the ratios, I think they're fine, particularly with a Lude's vtec cross-over at a couple of hundred rpm lower than the Accord is set for.

I have a u2q7 waiting to go in to my accord. I've not tried it but I remember driving my civic aerodeck with the s9b lsd box and although the ratios were horrific it was certainly preferable to a none lsd box.

FWIW, I have the diff from a U2Q7 in my original M2F5 (?) UKDM gearbox.
I went for this as I like the ratio of the original box and knew I was going the route of a little more power/lower VTEC crossover etc. anyway.
I think it's a great combo - not noticeable during normal driving as you'd expect, but caught me out slightly when I first got it back as it really will dig in very well around corners.
Personally, I wouldn't want anything more aggressive for a daily, but each to their own.

If cash isn't a huge issue I would just get a new Quaife diff. I paid £200 for a gearbox builders to install my Kaaz diff and final drive.

Well...... I'm going for it.

I'm getting the U2Q7 diff fitted in my M2P4 'box. In effect, it will be a U2Q7 'box as the ratios are identical.

Diffs are a new thing to me so I know very little about them. I know there are different types of LSD, viscous being one of them. Just so I know, what one am I getting?

The atr diff is a torsion diff or torque biasing diff which in effect it's a passive all mechanical atts. Same with the quaffe and m factory helical diffs.

Yeah its the best diff for road use.

Most aggressive

Clutch pack diff - track only
Torsen diff - best diff for the road
Viscous diff - only slightly better than an open diff

Least aggressive
