does he still not have any spark @fithotblonde? and how has he been checking he has no spark? id make sure its a whole H22 dizzy he's using first as mercutio says

Am not shoure how he has bin testing the spark. Knowing him he has had his finger on the plug whilst turning it over lol

best bet is to get him signed up on the forum and get him posting his problems, procedures he has carried out etc then we can help narrow down the problem :)

Thanks @ Drax just to let everyone know my friend has his lude alive again. It was the coil that was the problem. Thanks for everyone's inputs

Cheers woody for your help. Liked the finger in the plug part. I did actually get a massive shock of the engine today.. quick question. I have engine check light on. Codes says ELD electric load detector. How do I sort it out?
