I was going to suggest looking in the manual as I am sure I've seen it in there in the pmfi section of it

but Chinese one from ebay, ideally need one from 2nd hand honda throttle body and use a dremel to get it off.

ok, last night we checked the TPS wiring voltage on the red wire according to these guides;

http://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc- ... r-2169249/

http://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx- ... d-2830131/

when i first checked the voltage, it showed 1.40v when closed and 5.45v when fully open - this made me think ah ha! needs adjusting (as according the the manual it needs to be 0.5v closed and 4.5v fully open).... adjusted it both ways and the best i could get was 2.18v closed and 6.21v fully open... :? :roll: so worse than when we started.

the voltage didnt seem reverse, which was something to check in the manual, and the multimeter used seemed to be reading ok on other wiring i checked.

one thing though, the guide say to check when the ignition is turned to ACC on the barrel - when i tried this i couldnt get any reading at all until i turned the key to the ON position...

If I remember right the 5v is supplied from the ecu so it might be a possible ecu fault

As it should be one pin ground one pin 5v and other pin is the output

Right, swapped the ECU for a spare of njords and made no difference in the voltage, still showed too high.

Swapped the tps for a 3rd different one and also a different TB and the lowest voltage I could get was 1.25 closed and 5.88 open.

I checked the yellow cable had 5v but its showing 6v :?
I've had to repair the yellow wire to as it had pulled out of the plug pin. Made no difference after the repair.

The manual is showing to change the a/t control unit as the next stage but his isnt an auto so I can't do that...

Kind of stuck now.

Is that where the 5v is supplied from?
