Very!

I had a brick it hour before going. I've already spent 000's on the engine, don't want to spend more changing the oil pump again.

Can look forward to the dyno in a couple weeks now, I'll be bringing some spare oil with me mind

BMCC, i checked it a couple weeks ago just done a lot of miles in that time :? But yes I will be checking more often now

5L can of oil in the boot -cause my VTEC drinks about 0.5L for every 1000miles driven. It has came in handy a few times ;)

Diificult to tell, I've not measured it properly.

Since oil change 4k ago ive put 3L extra in. Its 0-40 tho so pretty thin, may put it up to a 5-40 next time.

I hate it when you find your low on oil, and you think back to how you were just driving it, sometimes I have to thank god for not spinning a big end or seizing it all together hehe.

Ps that's not on my lude, I don't drive it enough to use oil ;-)

Got home today the pressure was down again at around 5psi on idle :(

So, did some investigation. My dad has a sump pump so took all of the oil out to see how much was there, just over 5L which is about right.

It was pretty black and is due a change in about 1500 miles. Anyway, put it all back in a went for a drive. if i start of gentle the pressure runs normal but give it a blast then it starts dropping too low, then back it off for a mile or so and it starts to recover.

Could it be possible the oil has gone off a bit and cant deal with the higher temps now?
