difficult to describe. Sounds a bit like a deisel when in gear at low speeds when hot.

If the car has cooled a little it's no where near as bad, seems much worse when the temp has built up like waiting to pick up the missus from the train station.

Just started changing the oil, got some castrol multi vehicle stuff (going on a long drive tomorrow :scaredtoss: ). Anyway, took out the top plug and about half a litre of oil has come out, didn't think it was possible to over fill it? :?

Amsoil MTF is brilliant, highly recommend it! I think Torco is another good one.

The only way of checking is to get the car up, get the wheel off, lower it so it's level and open the filler bolt. The oil should be filled until it starts running out (i.e. level with the hole). Make sure the car is level when doing this.

I usually just take an allen key and put half in the hole pull it out see if there's oil on it or if youv already bought the oil just change it

Amsoil MTF is lovely. A nasty 5th gear crunch has, with very gentle application of the selector for a long time, gone.

otherwise as nitin says, build a better box. it was going to happen with the engine work you have had done
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.
