I always find pics helpful............

Some new cam and balancer belt seals.

Belt and auto tensioner.

After a bit of a clean.

New water pump in place.

Old and the new tensioner.

The new tensioner comes with the stopper tool, but due to its design is difficult to remove once the tensioner is in place, so I made a better one.

Here it is on the car, you can see a slot cut in the top, this means that the stopper can be slid out much more easily.

All the timing gubbins back in place.

Hope this helps.

many thanks for the quick responses guys and the pics really help, ill honestly say that this seems a bit over my skills to be honest as it looks like i would have to get all the timing right on the engine, im the kinda of guy that likes to unbolt old things and then bolt the new bits back on and if its a bit seized pic up a hammer  lol, but doesnt look like a hammer will be much use on this job, is it something that a novice can undertake, i do like to challenge myself with things but not at the risk of blowing my engine up, what would you say time wise this kind of job is?

well i spoke to a friend of mine who is a really good mechanic, he says he will fit the new seal water pump cambelt and tensioner conversion that i supply for £100 which sounds very good to me, the only thing is that he looked on auto data and said it loks lke there is 2 balance shafts so would need 2 seals but i wasnt 100% sure as there only seems to be mention of 1 seal on here. so thought id check back here so i can start ordering the parts.
